Advantages of vertical shaft lime kiln
The vertical shaft lime kiln is a lime kiln with an upright shape for burning lime. The modern vertical lime kiln has the advantages of environmental protection, energy saving and mechanization, and high degree of automation.
1. energy saving
From the top to the bottom of the vertical lime kiln, the pre-tropical zone, the calcination zone and the cooling zone are in turn. The cooling air is blown into the lime shaft kiln from the bottom of the cooling zone. After heat exchange, the product is cooled, the cooling air is preheated, and the cooling air carrying heat enters the calcining zone to participate in combustion, thereby reducing energy consumption. In addition, the lime kiln skin is built with four layers of refractory material, and the heat preservation effect is good. The vertical lime kiln skin temperature can be controlled at about 60 °C above the ambient temperature, and the energy saving is remarkable.
2. long service life
The material does not directly collide with the working surface refractory material, but relies on gravity settlement and the working surface friction, which reduces the wear rate of the refractory material. Under normal circumstances, the refractory material can be used for 6 to 10 years, which increases the service life of the equipment.
3. less floor space
Since the lime shaft kiln is arranged upright, the functional areas are arranged compactly, which reduces the floor space.
4. Low investment cost
The vertical lime kiln steel structure has fewer machining parts, lower processing costs, less difficult installation, and low difficulty in refractory masonry, so the equipment investment and construction cost is low.
